Today is crazy... so many things happened...
first i went to school, and then the to the dentist... [the dentist said i need braces because my molars are hurting my gum.. and yea.. it hurts a lot.. i need braces... unfortunately i don't have money for it...  ... it is 3500 dollars... that is horrible!] after the dentist i was walking home.. and i was crossing the street.. this one eldery lady from the other side of the street just fell backwards and hit her head on the concrete... i ran across and i helped her up... few other people came to help her... i called the ambulance and yea... after the paramedics came... i left.. well yea.. got home.. super hungry and yea... i break the news to my mom about my braces... she is quite depressed now... we dont' have that kind of money for it... well then.. i went out with uncle ray from 10th grade sunday school... we went to tony pizzas and then to watch tiffany chung bust her crazy dance moves in san marino high school. she did awesome. yea.. after the show i left right away.. cause it's pretty late... so yea.. ray dont' want me to be in trouble... so yea... it's been a crazy day... got joy, got worries... yea.. i need to pray for that eldery lady... | | |
| FCBC-LA's Chinese speaking and English speaking department is quite different. I guess i truly understanded it last sunday. I found out that it is not just a language barrier.. but the whole culture.
when i am in chinese speaking i feel that everyone is passionate and caring to one another. It feels like a family there. I feel right at home. When i am in English speaking department, everything is different. They are quite americanized and i guess i have troubles fitting in and adopting that kind of lifestyle, plus it is quite hard cause i face that in school everyday and i was expecting something more from my church buddies. But so far. i feel quite dissapointed. It is really tough being an ABC that is more Chinese speaking than American. We have a group that is living the american dream, and a group that is just working together as a group. and i am just stuck in the middle.
God help me learn how to adopt to their ways and how to grow in you LORD... Give me wisdom...
